<\/a><\/p>\nAnd it’s a major Journey of Acquisition event, the 24th<\/sup>, which spans ten game days and begins on May 23, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. SLT.<\/b><\/p>\n Organized by Nephtides na Neidos ( secondlife:\/\/\/app\/agent\/256518f0-6abe-43b8-a868-a65dbabc60a3\/about<\/a> ), it is therefore an opportunity for a whole group of players to participate in one of these Voyages of Acquisition described in the Gor novels, the principles of which I present in this article: Playing an Earthwoman taken to Gor<\/a>.<\/p>\n The event is open to all, but with restrictions to respect both the concepts of Gor and the strict framework of the event’s plots:<\/b><\/p>\n \u201cThis is a regular RP event for Priest Kings agents, Muls, an acquisition team and female earthlings ready to RP the difficult journey to Gor, being abducted to the world under the three moons, with the rare chance to show the earthling person before their abduction.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n If you are not sure what we are talking about when we mention the agents of the PK and the Muls, here is a link to an article that should enlighten you: The Priest Kings and the sci-fi of Gor<\/a>.<\/p>\n The event has limited seating<\/b>: Only two places left for abducted earthlings (yes, it’s a hit), but I don’t have any information on the roles around the event, such as the agents of the Priest Kings, civilians, police forces, government agents, other criminals, etc. Clearly, there is still place available, so give it a try! The organizers would be delighted to see civilian artists and musicians join the adventure!<\/p>\n How to participate<\/b>: just go to this SL group<\/a>, which is free, and ask the question or contact Nephtides directly!<\/p>\n The setting: <\/b>yes, it takes place mostly on Earth (in the Cyclades islands, in Greece), and yes, you will be immersed in the science fiction of Gor. If you don’t like it, I invite you to go your way!<\/p>\n The rules:<\/b> Roleplay is the main focus (yay!). No meters, so no weapons that use meters like the ZcS. Weapons and the like are accessories. I think the ZcS will be useful for rolling dice to resolve actions in opposition to need, but forget your weapons!<\/p>\n The type of roleplay:<\/b> we are in what I call an open BtB setting, that is to say, extended to the science fiction of Gor, but also to more creative freedom and tolerance of content. Nephtides himself describes it as: not BtB or Gor Evolved, but simply the world, the principles, and the codes of Gor.<\/p>\n Before presenting the announcement that sets the scene for the event, here is a short interview with Nephtides, who kindly answered my questions about the event:<\/p>\n 1- Can I participate as a beginner who knows nothing about Gor?<\/b><\/p>\n Yes, the event and the subsequent entry into Gor are ideal for Gor beginners. We take special care of them.<\/p>\n 2- What is the special atmosphere, the mood, during the event?<\/b><\/p>\n That depends too much on the RP that the players contribute to really answer definitively. For my part, as the \u201cmaster of the game\u201d, we aim for an immersive dive, from the normal and superficial to the deepest and most exciting, even disturbing. Think history, mystery, adventure, a bit of horror… and for the agents, I like to emphasize the long historical background of the Voyages as well as the current state of the conflict with the Kurrii, and give them side missions. This time, in a special way that will attract the kidnapped people \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n 3- Can I expect my player limits to be respected?<\/b><\/p>\n Yes. You can issue the fade to black emote at any time (ignore the situation, as dramatic as it may have been, depending on consent). If an action by a player or GM crosses a line, notify them immediately. With a theme like abduction, alien or otherwise, we want our players to be safe while they are experiencing the event.<\/p>\n 4- Can I come and participate, even if I can’t be there for the full ten days?<\/b><\/p>\n We prefer long-term players, but there are roles that are suitable for short-term participation. For example, island residents and other tourists, extras, Interpol\/secret service\/police agents\/criminals. Just contact us at least two days before you come to play. As long as the sim can support it, we’re open. BUT respect the framework and what the GMs have to say. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n 5- What will happen to my character after the event?<\/b><\/p>\n We offer continuous RP after this trip: basic training, a few days of work in a salt mine, then we travel with the group and visit a list of active Gor sims, showing the slaves to the others. And after this time of travel, we either sell them at an auction that we organize, or they go where they wish, after possibly finding someone.<\/p>\n Here is the roleplay introduction for the people who have been abducted!<\/p>\n You receive a message\/letter from the event agency ARCADIA.<\/b><\/p>\n \u201cDear (your name), You have won a free trip to Greece, a talent search agency drew YOUR name in an open Internet lottery. The letter says that you were entered by a friend.<\/em><\/p>\n Of course, you are more than skeptical… but the letter contains a travel ticket, all expenses are covered and the reference number you call is verified. The travel agency confirms the validity, and your research reveals that ARCADIA Events is a subdivision of the Von Meyland Corporation, a highly reputable German company that has been in business for nearly 100 years and specializes in aeronautical technologies and industrial actions, and which regularly sponsors such events.<\/em><\/p>\n The event is to take place over ten full days on an exclusive Greek island called Pharia, southeast of Naxos, and is scheduled to begin on May 23, 2025, and end on June 2.<\/em><\/p>\n The list of sponsors is impressive, and the agency is looking for models, dancers, actors and artists.
