Dressing your kajira!

How to dress and equip your kajira in 2025 is a big question! There aren’t that many Gor-themed Second Life stores, and they’re not easy to find, so it’s not that easy to find clothes for your kajira when you’re just starting out. That’s what this guide is for.

First, I want to make it clear that I am not sponsored by anyone. Gorean Archive has never received a single dollar to promote a product, event, or brand on Second Life, and all my designer friends know that I refuse any commercial collaboration. Have I received gifts? Yes. Do designers send me information about their stores so that I can talk about them if I want to? Yes. But they are two friends who know that I will talk about their creations if I want to, when I want to, and how I want to.

Gorean Archive is independent of any commercial or promotional collaboration, and that will never change.

The essentials for a kajira

So, to dress and equip a kajira, you need:

  • A slave brand on the thigh.
  • A slave collar.
  • Slave pose animations.
  • A camisk.
  • Possibly some slave and dance silk.
  • Some jewelry and accessories.
  • And why not some easy-to-use slave dance HUD animations?

Of course, you don’t have to find everything on your first try, and besides, equipping a kajira takes time and can be expensive, especially with the democratization of mesh bodies. On that note, before you make your purchases, check which mesh body you are using and make sure your purchases are designed for that type of body!

Of course, dressing a kajira is not limited to a camisk and silk, and does not force you to buy the same thing as your neighbor. Clothing for kajiras in the world of Gor is quite varied and can be extravagant, and the only rule is: “A slave can wear whatever her owner wants her to wear!”

If you want more information on possible clothing for a Gor kajira, check out this guide! https://www.psychee.org/gorpedia/gorean-fashion/

Prepare your budget, and let’s get started!

1- The slave brand

My advice is to go for BOM tattoos, which can be adapted to all types of mesh bodies.

Gorean Archives, my online store for BoM brands, including custom ones, for all mesh bodies and Gor cultures, with an on-site demo:

2- The slave collar

The collar is a complicated subject, since it goes hand in hand with the use of animation HUDs and slave tools, such as Opencollar or Whim. It’s a subject I don’t know much about, so I won’t talk about it. Just know that Opencollar is the cheapest slave collar animation HUD (the basic version is free) and Whim is the most sophisticated and powerful (but it can quickly become expensive).

For the collar itself, I recommend either my favorite stores or places where you can find a basic collar for free or at a low price.

Kibitz, one of my favorite stores, which also makes all kinds of jewelry. There is a wide selection of collars:

Opencollar HQ, to get a free collar and the basic functions and Opencollar HUD:

Silenced WHIM, to get the HUD and features of this excellent slave collar tool:

La Sirena, for luxury collars, with a HUD featuring great animations:

Florid, which offers simple, beautiful, and inexpensive collars:

3- Slave pose animations

Well, if you’ve chosen your collar wisely, whether it’s an Opencollar or a Whim, it will come with a HUD for using them. But if you’re looking for a HUD specifically designed for slave posing animations, you’ll have to look elsewhere.

There aren’t that many choices, so I’ll suggest three:

GU Roleplay accessories & Nihil offer a complete HUD with a crazy variety of content (and yes, I have it!).

Lewdicrous offers a visual HUD with a collection of slave poses and animations:

~Mythril~ offers one of the most popular HUDs for kajira poses—and also one of the most expensive (and the one I use most often).

4- Camisk & silks

So, being a fashion victim, the list of Second Life stores where I shop is endless. Starting with the basics of Gor slave outfits, you can find what you’re looking for in lots of fantasy stores, or even contemporary clothing stores, but you have to do a little digging.

Here, we’re going to suggest some stores that are suitable or dedicated to roleplay in the world of Gor, to make your life easier!

{{ RAPTURE’S ENCHANTMENT }} is a store dedicated to Kajira outfits, with camisk, dance silks, and numerous accessories, all with a welcome oriental touch.

~Mansken~ also offers outfits for the world of Gor, with lots of items for slaves, but with a more Nordic look.

5- Jewelry & Accessories

So, jewelry is obvious, but accessories mainly include restraints, ropes, gags, and other kinky and fetish items that are quite common in the world of Gor. Here are a few places where you can find pretty jewelry and accessories!

Envy, for erotic and fetish accessories—yes, they’re common on Gor—including collars and restraints:

RealEvil Industries, with lots of jewelry, fetish or otherwise, and a few accessories for all tastes:

6- Dance animations

I covered the topic of dancing in this article: https://www.psychee.org/gorpedia/how-to-write-and-perform-a-gorean-dance/, which will give you some information. Here, I’ll just give you a few links to handy HUDs so you can perform a Gorean dance or organize your dance animations without having to rack your brains.

{{ RAPTURE’S ENCHANTMENT }} offers a simple belly dance HUD that is well-stocked and very practical (as well as other dance accessories in the store):

Emporium Arachnes also offers an easy-to-use sensual dance HUD:

EZ Dance Hud is the most popular dance hud, allowing you to store and sort dance animations to create your own personalized hud:

MetaHarpers Choreo hud is the dance hud I use. It’s very powerful and lets you adjust everything to create the perfect dance show. Yes, it’s a little expensive, so it’s not for everyone:

And finally… my favorite dance animation store!

Conclusion

I hope you find this guide useful. It’s really very simple, the aim being to help you quickly find what you need to equip your kajira, without spending hours searching the marketplace, which can quickly become frustrating.

Of course, the choice of these stores is personal: these are the stores I know and that I thought were suitable for the purposes of this guide. To discover more and find what you’re looking for, I recommend two places:

We Love Roleplay: a monthly event selling Gorian and fantasy items.

Seraphim: a website that lists promotions, regular events, etc., and good deals on Second Life, including Gor and Fantasy.

Now, enjoy, and remember that the only limits to your look are your imagination… and your owner!
